SIMPLE EASTER TABLESCAPE

SIMPLE EASTER TABLESCAPE

I took some time this week to put together a simple DIY Easter tablescape with my sister, Lindsay. I wanted to show you guys that even a table of 6 friends or family can be special, without draining the bank account! Now I LOVE Pinterest, but  I find so many ideas on there with these elaborate Easter tables that always just seem more fit for a wedding than a casual family dinner at home, and all with huge diys I'll never get to. This simply decorated table took us no time at all and still looks special. Including running around town to pick up the pieces & about half an hour of set up at home, we were done by noon.

We started off of course with  some beautiful buds from our local flower shop, The Rose Pros & I had a couple sprigs leftover from my last fresh flower grab at Room to Bloom. The tabletop rentals from our own collection at The Perfect Table (benefits of being your own boss with a warehouse full of goodies! ), napkins/tablecloth I already had around the house, & a small sprinkle of eggs that I already had in the fridge! We kept the eggs white to continue the fresh, natural, light look we were aiming for on this table, which also saved time and money on craft supplies :)

We were going for a minimal modern vintage look, but we ended up with bit of farmhouse in there as well and I can't say I'm upset about it. We love the result and can't wait for dinner with the fam this Easter!

We were lucky to be able to use our own rental inventory for this table, but I wanted to show you the breakdown on how much a rented setup would cost, since renting is a totally inexpensive option that most people don't even think of for a small get together. All in, this cost less than $90 to put together!
